The crib in the Parish of Saints Philip and James has become a happy and popular tradition. Located off the church, on a special construction, the crib is spread over an area of \u200b\u200babout 20 square meters and a volume of 80 cubic meters.
The setting is traditional, but over the past year, as always, completely renovated: the hole front, allows a more complete view of the scenery and close-Nativity. In the top of the background that illuminates the comet with its light the snow-capped mountains and below the valley with a central stream, with bridges built with our national material, which flows into a magnificent lake with real rocks and fish. On the left and right, the bright city lights.
The hut with the Holy Family in the foreground on the right, reealizzata to perfection, with local stone and covered with roof tiles, while all around mechanized and playable characters that move, some day, others at night. On the night are in full swing the baker, the water boils, the windmill, several fires that burn and shepherds with their flocks, which are heated. During the day, however there is a fisherman fishing lines, laundry woman, a woman who hoards, the carpenter, two lumberjacks sawing a tree that woman that makes the polenta, donkey turning millstone. certainly beautiful to look at, the nativity scene at St. Philip has a precedence where the green grass, the white snow in the mountains water that flows and gives freshness and naturalness to the scene: you could say a crib label. Even the mechanization of some characters are well coordinated to make the scene seem almost real.
The crib was made on the technical and experiential Emidio Menchini, with the help of Osvaldo Diamond, Giancarlo Biondi, Leandro Bianchi and others.
